Woody and the Wake Up Call on 92.3 WCOLWeekdays 5:30 AM - 10:00 AM - Final Weigh in Tuesday Feb. 20th in the 8:00 hour. The 'Biggest Couple Loser' Challenge
The contest is running from January 19th through February 20th. Official weigh in's are on Tuesday mornings during 8:00 hour of the show. We did beginning testing at Baseline, including VO2 testing. With this, the couples now know what heart rate they individually need to maintain while exercising to burn the most fat. As we often see, most were surprised that they had to keep their heart rate much lower than they had thought. We then provided them all with heart rate monitors to track it. Eve Ann requested that the couples try to do cardio with the heart rate monitor everyday in addition to working out with their trainers at Lifetime Fitness. We also talked about making the best food choices, drinking plenty of water and how eating more frequently will speed up the metabolism.
Final results by couple: 1st Place - Dan & Kelly Drake
Week two Kelly lost 6.3 lbs of body fat bringing her cumulative total to 7.8 lbs. Her husband Dan lost 3.5 lbs of body fat bringing his cumulative total to 5.5 lbs. Together they have a combined total of 5.4 lbs the second week and 14.2 lbs of fat lost so far. The third week Kelly lost 3.4 lbs of fat bringing her challenge total to 11.2 lbs of fat lost. Her husband Dan lost 4.4 lbs of fat for a total of 9.9 lbs of fat lost. Together they have a combined total of 7.8 lbs of fat this week and 21.1 lbs of fat lost.

2nd Place - August & Tamy Simpkins
Week two Tamy lost .5 lbs of body fat bringing her cumulative total to 3.6 lbs. Her husband August lost 2.1 lbs of body fat bringing his cumulative total to 7 lbs. Together they have a combined total of 2.6 lbs the second week and 10.6 lbs of fat lost so far. The third week 3.5 Tamy lost lbs of fat bringing her challenge total to 7.1 lbs of fat lost. Her husband August lost .9 lbs of fat for a total of 7.9 lbs of fat lost. Together they have a combined total of 4.4 lbs of fat this week and 15 lbs of fat lost for the first three weeks of the challenge.

3rd Place - Shawn & Irene Millen
Week two Irene lost 4 lbs of body fat bringing her cumulative total to 7.8 lbs. Her husband Shawn lost 1.8 lbs of body fat bringing his cumulative total to 3.3 lbs. Together they have a combined total of 5.8 lbs the second week and 11.1 lbs of fat lost so far. The third week Irene lost .8 lbs of fat bringing her challenge total to 8.6 lbs of fat lost. Her husband Shawn lost 1.1 lbs of fat for a total of 4.4 lbs of fat lost. Together they have a combined total of 1.9 lbs of fat this week and 13 lbs of fat lost for the first three weeks of the challenge.

Week two Christina lost 1.1 lbs of body fat bringing her cumulative total to 4.9 lbs. Her husband Butch lost 4.9 lbs of body fat bringing his cumulative total to 5.1 lbs. Together they have a combined total of 6 lbs the second week and 10 lbs of fat lost so far. The third week Christina lost 2.8 lbs of fat bringing her challenge total to 7.7 lbs of fat lost. Her husband Butch lost .2 lbs of fat for a total of 5.3 lbs of fat lost. Together they have a combined total of 3 lbs of fat this week and 13 lbs of fat lost for the first three weeks of the challenge.
