What is a 'Bod Pod'? 
Yes, the 'Bod Pod' does sort of look like a giant egg or something that may have come from outerspace. Actually, it's a very unique tool used to measure body composition.
We use the full laboratory model to ensure proper calibration, accuracy and
client management of records. This model is primarily found in research facilities and used by many pro and collegiate level sports teams.
The 's/t' model, used by some health clubs due to it's low cost, is not the same
device used at Baseline Fitness.
The Bod Pod was created using the same principle as the 'gold standard' hydrostatic (underwater weighing) testing, without all of the challenges. The Bod Pod uses air instead of water to measure body volume.
This method is fast, accurate, comfortable and effective for people of all ages and sizes. The complete test, start to finish takes less than five minutes.
