Lance Evans
Some
of you may have seen Lance on the cover of the 'Columbus Dispatch Accent
Section' when our Bod Pod was featured. In the story, Lance reported that
his percentage was a bit higher than he would like, being right after the
holidays. His number was already considered very lean at 12%. He had
hoped to bring it down to 8%. Lance made a new goal of increasing lean
mass, as well as targeting the lower percentage. In a short three month time frame, he not
only dropped another 3% bodyfat, down to 9%, but made some solid composition
changes as well. He had loss of 5 lbs. of bodyfat and an increase of 5.5
lbs. of lean mass. A fantastic accomplishment! Dropping fat and gaining
good muscle at the same time isn't all that easy, especially when you're
already very lean. Lance attributes his success to the following:
1) Eating every two hours until bedtime.
2) Not eating right before a workout.
3) Taking the appropriate supplements just prior to, and just after a
workout.
4) Allowing body parts appropriate rest between workouts.
Lance wants to continue to make 1.5 to 2 lb. gains in lean mass per month,
while remaining under 12% bodyfat. Something tells me he's just the guy to
do it!
